Privacy policy

When you apply, you give us your year of birth, your line of work and the memory of a dinner. Here is what we do with them.

Who is responsible

Tablez Club, Paris, reachable at bonjour@tablez-club.com.

What we collect

Your answers to the application form: identity, contact details, year of birth and gender (to balance the ages and the mix of each table), work, languages, LinkedIn profile (including the profile photo, which is used only by the organiser to recognise you when you arrive), Instagram profile if you give it, your answers about what you’re looking for and what you enjoy, and a photo if you send one. We also record the date of your consent and your truncated IP address, which is used only to limit automated submissions.

Why

  • To put together tables where guests have things to say to each other.
  • To send you invitations, and to remind you of a table you’ve booked.
  • To check that you are the person described in the application.

We do not use your data for marketing. We do not sell it and do not share it with any third party for commercial purposes. It leaves our hands in two cases only: the restaurant, which receives only the number of guests and their first names, and our processors (listed below), each for its own task only.

Legal basis

Your consent for the application, which you can withdraw at any time; performance of the contract for booking a seat; our legitimate interest in protecting the form against automated submissions.

How long

An application that isn’t accepted is deleted after twelve months. A member’s data is kept for as long as they take part in tables, then deleted twenty-four months after their last table.

Where

On Cloudflare’s infrastructure, with the database in Western Europe. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and we have signed its standard contractual clauses. Backups are encrypted. Our processors: the host, the payment provider for booking tickets and the email delivery provider, each for its own task only.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection: just write to bonjour@tablez-club.com. We reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

Cookies and audience measurement

The website sets no tracking cookies and calls no third-party service. The only cookies are technical ones (form protection token, admin session). Audience measurement counts page views without identifying anyone: it relies on a truncated IP address, recalculated every day, which cannot be used to follow you from one day to the next, and it is only kept aggregated by day.
